Areas of law studied such as Contract Law, Real Estate Law, Strata Law, Insurance Law, Wills and Estates and more have been immensely helpful when advising her clients. This helps to lower clients' exposure to risk.
EXPERIENCE - Colleen worked in the legal department for the largest local real estate developer where she gained hands-on knowledge about many aspects of real estate development such as municipal zoning, general construction knowledge, technical; and strata plan review, Strata Property Act and other legislation, strata records and budgets, legal title issues: covenants, easements, agreements, rights of ways, ground leases and more. This experience enables her to know exactly what to research and how to explain it to her clients which helps clients to be more satisfied with the buying and selling process.
BUSINESS, MARKETING, ADVERTISING & MANAGEMENT - Colleen acquired strong business, marketing and management skills while attending British Columbia Institute of Technology's (BCIT) Marketing Management and Advertising Program. These skills allow her to systematically produce consistent results for her clients when marketing their home.
TECHNOLOGY - Colleen also completed various graphic design, web design, social media and fine art programs which help her produce powerful marketing pieces for her clients. Colleen evaluates and uses the latest technology based on what works for the real estate industry. This helps to minimize showing your property to the wrong buyers and gets more serious buyers interested, meaning better offers, less time on market and less inconvenince to you.
PERSONAL SERVICE & COLLABORATION - As a full-time real estate agent her business passion includes working with clients who want a little extra care and attention, like people downsizing or relocating after years in their cherished home, working with family members on estate sales and first-time buyers.
